About

Where we go from here…

Business Beware started out as a simple idea back in 2005 that soon grew into a website that helped small business owners all over the country. We had no idea it would grow into what it is today and allowed us to meet so many amazing business owners all across the boards.

We listened to your stories and started sharing them from a small radio station that eventually led us sharing them on TV. The journey has been incredible and opened so many doors to learn from those who have been there, done that. We would always say that “you learn the most from those who’ve been around and made the mistakes you have.”

In 2012, we lost a sister/daughter and it caused many things to come to a halt for a while. Many of you were so supportive at that time that we can’t thank you enough from the bottom of our hearts. We’ve gone back and forth on what to do with BB, the beware letter, the show etc. We realized that no matter what we do, we still want to help small businesses. That’s been our goal since day one and we will continue to do just that.

We are no longer sending out beware letters through the site BUT we are going to continue to educate you on how and why you would pre-qualify your customers in business. We have not changed our platform on the “the customer is not always right.” We’ve had numerous people ask us if they can still send us stories, ask questions and even receive some consulting - our answer is yes! If you want to chat with us or have a question for us, send an email to ashley(at)/

As for the show, we are going to continue to interview business owners and share their stories with you but we are going to focus more on small businesses that need help starting, re-shaping and those that just need a little TLC. We will keep you updated right here on any new shows and interviews we shoot.

We’re excited about the new chapter and things to come through BB. We’re still the same father/daughter duo you’ve seen over the years but we just have a little clearer view of where we’re headed now. Look forward to sharing your stories, learning from you and being an advocate for small business owners everywhere.
